Although the goals were harder to come by for Brett Hull in 1997-98, the All-Star right winger still managed to lead the Blues in scoring for the eighth time in the last 10 campaigns. Modano is a terrific player for numerous reasons, many of which aren't apparent on the surface. A tremendous scorer, he racks up assists with the best of 'em. It's his swift skating, efficient forechecking and undeniably great puckhandling skills that make him one of the NHL's best. Modano is quite good at winning faceoffs and tying up on-coming attackers.
