In a doubleheader at Syracuse in 1970 Frank went 7-for-8 with 3 Homers. He was Braves' top pinchhitter of 1973.

Canseco didn't take too kindly to getting hit by a pitch on his 24th birthday (July 2, 1988), so he took it out on Toronto with a powerhouse performance the next day. Teeing off in the first, sixth and 12th innings, the slugger followed Jimmie Foxx (1932) as the franchise's second player with three homers, six RBI and a walk in a game.

Dale is the Homer King of the Pirate squad. Last season he belted 8 circuit smashes in 8 games - a feat never done before! Starting in baseball in 1944, Dale split his time between the outfield and pitching. However, in 1950 when he led the Eastern League in Homers and Runs Batted In, he knew he belonged in the lineup daily and dropped hurling. The Pirates once wanted to make Dale a lefty catcher!
