Josh has a solid claim to be one of the most underrated players in Baseball. He hangs up above- average stats, steals bases, and plays multiple positions with distinction. After missing 26 games at the start of the schedule with an oblique injury, his first three extra-base hits of the campaign were home runs - all of them in a defeat of the Cubs on May 20.

String-bean Maury is a highly regarded left-handed pitching prospect. Won 7, and lost 3, in 38 games for the Sox in 1950. Began 1948 with Boston, but was sent to Scranton for further seasoning.
