Coffee Talk Name that player!
Malone is a man who does not stop working until the final buzzer. Often, he is the difference in the end result of Jazz games. A rebounding wizard, "The Mailman" is also perhaps the NBA's finest finisher.
He is the triggerman on the Celtics' fast breaks, sweeping the defensive board and passing off to Bob Cousy to start the green shirts' speedy machine in motion. When he reaches high to catch a pass in one hand and whip it like a baseball to a teammate, he looks graceful and sure. Around the backboard he is in complete control of himself. Coming down with a rebound, he holds tight to the ball, looks carefully before passing out and moves downcourt in deceptively fast and amazingly long strides. Here he takes to the air to score against Philadelphia.
