One of the most exciting rookies in the league, Williams can do everything. The 6'8" guard-forward led the ACC in scoring as a senior, pumping in 26.8 points per game. He also contributed 5.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.1 steals per contest. After a slow start when used as the club's fourth guard, Fred became the spark that ignited the Bullets through the last month of the 1969-70 season and through 1970-71.
