Despite an injury-abbreviated '00-01 season, Kenyon finished second in voting for NBA Rookie of the Year. Among frosh, he ranked first with 1.66 BPG, as well as second with 12.0 PPG and 7.4 RPG. "No rookie had a bigger impact on their team than Kenyon did," says Nets coach Byron Scott. Martin was named NBA Rookie of the Month in March, thanks in part to several spectacular dunks against the Grizzlies on March 20.
