The dominant man in the middle who helped Celtics win more games last season than ever before, Dave was named as NBA's MVP for 1972-73. He also captured MVP award in the 1973 All-Star Game at Chicago, January 23rd, as he helped East to score a 104-84 victory. Dave was first Celtic to be named MVP in the NBA since Bill Russell last won in 1964-65.



An excellent shooter, Tom is an intelligent player and one of the best passers among the Knicks' big men. A 3-time All-American at Maryland, he holds the school's alltime scoring record of 1807 points in 3 varsity seasons. Tom was voted MVP of the 1972 NIT as Terps won the championship.



A high school All-American at the same school that produced Wilt Chamberlain, Walt attended UCLA where he led the Bruins to two national titles. Primarily a shooter, Walt has become one of the NBA's best playmakers and has led the Hawks in assists the past two seasons. Walt is a fine penetrator, a good ballhandler.
