Campbell showed he could perform in the clutch in the 1991 NBA Playoffs when he led the Lakers, who went all the way to the NBA Finals that year, with .658 shooting from the field. Campbell again came through in the 1992 NBA Playoffs, averaging 10.0 points per game, nearly three points per game more than his regular-season average.
