After missing Memphis' first 14 games of 2022-23, Jackson quickly made up for lost time. In his season debut on Nov. 15, the All-Defensive Team forward swatted five shots vs. New Orleans. Keeping near that pace, he finished the campaign with a career-best 189 rejections.
Back to the basket, Vucevic can't see the rim, but that doesn't mean he can't score. The All-Star center can get buckets with a quick spin shot or a polished fadeaway. In 2020-21, he recorded 314 points out of post-up looks, third most in the league behind Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic.
Perhaps the best all-around performer in professional basketball, Elgin handles himself with the dexterity and maneuverability of a small man. He is equally adept at bringing up the ball under the boards. He can shoot, rebound, pass, dribble and quarterback a club almost as well as any man alive. He has blistering speed, stamina, strength and tremendous spirit. It is difficult to say which is his best shot. He hooks from 20 feet out, drives for layups, jumps from the top of the key and hits with soft push shots from the corner. Here he hangs in mid-air as he gets off an under-the-basket shot with no one near him.
