One of the most popular players ever to perform in the Memphis area, Larry broke nearly every conceivable record at Memphis State while earning All-America honors. He set school records for scoring in a game, season and career. He also set records in free throw accuracy and assists. Larry is a playmaking guard who is expected to be a key in the Memphis offensive attack during the 1974-75 season.
Set new career-highs for scoring and rebounding for fourth straight year in 1991... Ranked third in the NBA in steals in 1990 with 211 (2.57 spg)... Averaged 19.3 ppg and 7.2 rpg in 15 Playoff games in 1990, leading Bulls to Eastern Conference Finals... Scored four points in first All-Star Game appearance at Miami in 1990.
A flashy one-on-one master, Earl "the Pearl" Monroe dazzled NBA fans during his 13-year career. He was NBA Rookie of the Year in 1968 and was selected to the All-NBA First Team in 1969. He also won an NBA Championship in 1973 with the New York Knicks.
