Drafted on second round by Miami in 1988... Nephew of NBA guard John Long... Played in all 82 games in rookie year... Mid-American Conference Player of the Year in 1988 at Eastern Michigan.

Bob had a string of 39 consecutive Free Throws without a miss last season. The ABA's third leading shooter from the charity stripe with a mark of .861 in 1972-73, he started the campaign with the Cougars, moved on to the Chaparrals and then came over to the Stars.
