Petrovic was acquired by the Nets from Portland midway through the 1990/91 season and placed second on New Jersey in free-throw percentage. The 6'5' Yugoslavian guard also led the Nets in three-point shooting accuracy in his second NBA campaign. Petrovic averaged 12.6 points in just 20 minutes of playing time with New Jersey.
With the arrival of Sam Perkins, Green had to adjust to a reserve role in 1990/91, but his high-intensity style of play allowed him to flourish. Green has become the Lakers' ironman despite his all-out, hustling personality, playing in every Laker game for three consecutive seasons.
Versatile enough to play up front or in the backcourt, Willie Burton was a sparkplug throughout the 1990-91 season for the young Heat. He averaged 12 points and 3.4 rebounds for Miami, registering season highs of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Burton was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
