Tim, a year older and a year wiser, and his knee back to 100 percent, produced his finest all-around campaign in '01-02. While being elected by fans to start the NBA All-Star Game (his fourth appearance), he enhanced his legendary reputation for consistency. Logging double-double after double-double, Duncan had one streak of 28 games with at least 20 points. On December 26 versus Dallas, he scored 53 - fourth-most ever by a Spur.



Jessie was a strong contributor during her four years at Maryland and ranks fourth all-time for career points, fifth in rebounds and third in blocks. She was named to the AIl-ACC Conference first team in her junior and senior years.



Larry Bird has always been considered one of the most talented players in the NBA. But, during the 1990/91 season, Bird showed just as much determination as talent. Bird missed 22 games during the season because of a painful back injury. Frequently, when he did play, Bird had to lie on the floor when he was out of the game to keep his back loose.
