Third year in pro football. All-American selection at U. of Kentucky in 1951. Led Southeastern conference in passing in 1949, 1950, and 1951. One of the greatest ball handlers in the League. With Parilli and Tobin Rote passing, the Packers won the 1952 League passing championship. "Babe" is also a great runner, especially on the quarterback option play. His punting has been a valuable asset to the Packers.
Mickey has all the leadership abilities to become one of the greats in football. Considered to many to be the finest quarterback to come out of college in 1962, Mickey has lived up to his potential in the pros. He has great poise and is well on the way to stardom. He will be battling Jacky Lee for starting quarterback honors.
Top back of the 1996 entry draft selections. Played the tail-back position at the University of Nebraska. Gained 165 ground yards against Florida State University in the 1996 Orange Bowl, the game that crowned Nebraska national champs. Played to moderate successes as a rookie players but St. Louis has made it abundantly clear that Phillips is their backfield man for the future. Very physical runner with great "cut-back" ability.
