Named as an all-time AFL linebacker by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Bobby was once again a consensus All-League performer in 1970 as he made virtually all the All-Star teams. A veteran of six AFL All-Star games, he has been an All-League pick in five of the last six years. In 1969 Bobby was named as the AFL's Defensive Player of the Year by a committee of 101 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the nation. Bobby picked up an onside kick in the closing minutes of a game against the Broncos in 1969 and went 53-yards for a touchdown. He was the nation's outstanding lineman in his senior year at Minnesota.
Landry was the difference-maker in a low-scoring battle between the Lions and Browns in Week 11 of 2021. In the second quarter, the well-rounded wideout took a direct snap out of the Wildcat, faked a throw and then sprinted for a 16-yard TD rush. It was the first score in his team's 13-10 victory.
For a while during the closing weeks of the '64 seasons, the Cards were in contention. They led the league with 5 TD's on Interceptions and in Field Goals with 25. They were first, too, in the Fair-Catch Department with 25.
