One of outstanding players in National Football League. Starred two years in a row in Pro Bowl Game, Los Angeles. All-league last four seasons. Captain of the Bears. Entered Notre Dame following discharge from Service. Captained Fighting Irish to nation al championship 1946-1947. All-American 1943-1946-1947. Versatile - plays offensive, defensive tackle, offensive end, linebacker.



John "Bull" Schweder, now in his third year with the Steelers, came to Pittsburgh from the Baltimore Colts. Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1950 with a degree in Marketing. While at Penn, he received All-American mention. Was chosen for East-West Shrine game and played on the 1950 All-Stars team that defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 17-7.



"Chuck the Clutch" considered the greatest center in professional football now playing his fifth season for the Eagles. Chuck backs up line on right side and gets particular enjoyment in jamming the opposing interference. Does all of team's kicking off and good reserve punter. He was three-time All-American center at Pennsylvania. All-Pro Bowl team three years in row.
