December 8, 2002: Weekly Wrap Up: Getting his season back on track, Smith scored three touchdowns (two on long punt returns) as the Panthers outscored Cincinnati, 52-31, in Charlotte on December 8. In addition to the runbacks of 61 and 87 yards, he had his career-high of 144 yards receiving, including a 31-yard score. All told, he piled up 313 all-purpose yards in the game.



A sure-handed pass receiver as well as a great runner, Larry is truly a double-threat at fullback. Larry is also an excellent kick-off specialist. He averaged 28.2 yards per carry last year. Watch him tear loose in '66.



The NFC's 5th leading receiver in 1972, John was one of only two conference receivers to top 1000 yard mark. His 22-yard average was high for NFL leaders.
