Isaac was off to the best start of his career when a hamstring injury wiped out his 1998 season. With 21 catches for 323 yards, he was the NFL's leading receiver after two games. His 80-yard reception against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 was the longest of his career and the longest by a Rams receiver in 166 games.



Bruce broke into pro ball as a defensive end, moved to guard, then to center where he has won Pro Bowl honors the last two years. He was the 49ers' second choice in '56 after having been an All American tackle at West Virginia.



Seventh season. Switched from end to linebacker last season and did outstanding job. Unanimous All-Southeastern Conference end at University of Georgia in 1946, and named on many All- Americas. Played in Sugar, Rose and Oil Bowls. Member of Chicago All-Star squad in 1947. Born in Glen Lyon, Pa. Served in Army three years. Married former Univ. of Georgia cheerleader.
