Steve continues to bolster his reputation as one of the game's up-and-coming stars. Along with leading all NFL quarterbacks in rushing yards for the second straight season in 1998, he finished among the NFL's top 10 in passing yardage. The exciting McNair was at his best in third down situations, compiling a 93.8 passer rating that stood as the second-highest in the AFC.
An All-American and all-around letterman at Syracuse, Jimmy kept grabbing new honors last season as the NFL's outstanding rookie. All Jimmy did was to lead the league in yards gained and TD's as well as to pace the Browns to the title.
Nick enjoyed his second fine season with the Dolphins in 1970 as he was voted the club's Best Defensive Back after making 96 tackles and assisting on 49 others for a total of 145 hits during the regular 14-game schedule. He had a great first year at Miami in 1969. He was chosen All-League and picked as the Dolphins' MVP. He led the team in tackles with 79 and added 35 assists, called the defensive signals and was the defensive captain. Twice voted MVP at Boston, Nick was the Patriots' all-time leader in interceptions and tackles in his 7 years there.
