Pierre has developed progressively in NHL to stardom, winner of Norris Mememorial Trophy last two years as leading all-around defenseman. Key to Hawks' power play, "Pete" led all defensemen in scoring last season. He's smallish but maneuverable and strong.

Clearly, a developing talent in his first four years in the league, McDonald had never scored more than 10 goals in a season prior to this season when he looked to threaten the 30-goal plateau. He also looked to double his previous best assist total.
