Name that player!

Regarded by many experts as the greatest Hockey Player of all time, Gordie has averaged 69 Points per season in his 8 seasons in the N.H.L. During the past 4 seasons he led the League in Total Points and in 3 of these was the top Goal Scorer. Gordie came up to Detroit in 1946 after 1 year in the Minors. His greatest year was 1952-53 with 49 Goals and 46 Assists for 95 Points.

Acquired by the Hurricanes in exchange for Josef Vasicek in July 2006, Walker departed Nashville as the franchise's all-time leader in goals (96), points (247) and PIM (465) entering the 2006-07 season.

Wayne had a five-game tryout with Leafs last season and Coach Imlach liked what he saw. After a year in the Minors, Wayne was called up to Leafs this year. A big, strong, scrappy player, Wayne will give the Leafs strength "down the centre."
