Earl played with the Indians, the White Sox and the Cubs before joining L.A. in 1961. In 1958, the catcher was the MVP in the P.C.L. as he batted .347 with San Diego. His father is a former big league great.
In Bobby's 1st year in professional ball, he struck out 247 batters for Daytona Beach of the Florida State League. Compiling impressive season records in the minors, Bobby was a 17- and 18-game winner in 1954 and 1956 respectively. The right-hander returned to the American League late in 1967 and relieving in nine games for the Angels, he was credited with three victories. Bobby can be a valuable fireman for the Angels in '68.
Having missed more than two-thirds of Angels games since 2021 with injuries, Anthony is healthy again and raring to return to the player who has received League MVP votes in five different seasons.
