Originally signed by the Philadelphia Phillies, Marcelino came to California at the close of the 1964 season. The young southpaw was second on the club in victories in his rookie campaign.

The 2022 campaign represents a fresh start for Anthony, who was sidelined by a hamstring injury in 2021. Prior to that, the 2019 NL RBI king had finished among the top 11 in League MVP votes four straight years.



As a rookie in 1961, Dean pitched two shut-outs over the Minnesota Twins. His first victory was an 11-inning 1-0 duel and then he followed it up with a one-hitter.



In Bobby's 1st year in professional ball, he struck out 247 batters for Daytona Beach of the Florida State League. Compiling impressive season records in the minors, Bobby was a 17- and 18-game winner in 1954 and 1956 respectively. The right-hander returned to the American League late in 1967 and relieving in nine games for the Angels, he was credited with three victories. Bobby can be a valuable fireman for the Angels in '68.
