The first Giants second baseman since Ray Durham to register multiple seasons with double-digit homers and steals, Thairo also is a standout defensive player. Madison's 2014 campaign was one long series of highlights. They ranged from a one-hit/13-strikeout shutout of the Colorado Rockies, to a two-hit whitewash of the Mets, to helping himself with a pair of grand slams.

Hank established a new National League record for third-basemen in 1950 when he took part in 43 double plays. This was his first year as a Giant regular and he hit .289 and slugged 20 homers. In 1947, he got his first Big League trial with the Browns, but didn't click. The Giants brought him up from Jersey City during the 1949 season. He spent 2 months in the minors in 1951, but came back to play in the World Series.

Ken Henderson
Ken was given a large bonus to sign with the San Francisco club, and last year he was the team's designated first year player. When given the chance to play, the young outfielder showed the fans that he was a flashy fielder and a good hitter. Ken has good speed and a strong throwing arm. Compiling great records in high school, Ken has the potential to become a big league great.
