Sims gave her team a long-range boost before halftime on Sept. 6, 2020. With just 2.4 ticks left in the second quarter, the guard got the ball and sprinted past several Seattle defenders. After letting loose a halfcourt heave from the logo, she watched it bounce off the backboard into the net as time expired.
When Walker isn't wiping WNBA floors with her opponents Stateside, she's cleaning up against the competition overseas. Before joining the Dream in 2022, the high-scoring forward averaged 19.6 points, 6.8 boards and 1.8 steals for Spain's CDB Clarinos Tenerife in Eurocup action.
In need of a boost on offense, the Dream used the No. 4 overall selection in the 2020 WNBA Draft on Carter, arguably the top scorer available. A certified bucket-getter at Texas A&M, the guard averaged 225 points over three seasons and was tabbed an All-American in each of those campaigns.
