In 2021, Kuier became the sixth international prospect (Finland) without NCAA experience to be selected in the top five of the WNBA draft. "She's going to be a beast," said Dallas forward Isabelle Harrison, who was Kuier's teammate in Italy. "I can't wait for the States to see somebody with this talent."

"So that's an honor for someone to say that. It gives me some motivation that I can keep going and try to get better and better."
