Once known as the best No. 6 man in the NBA, Havlicek has made it as an all-star. Led Celtics in scoring and assists in regular season and playoffs; had 458 points and 100 assists.

Last season, Bill was on the All Star Team for the second straight time. In 1955, he was voted the N.B.A. "Most Valuable Player." Last year, Bill was the top Celtic scorer and averaged 21 points in 10 playoff games. In addition to his hoop prowess, Bill is an expert tennis player and golf pro.

Although always the tallest player on his high school and college teams, Tom worked hard to develop an outside shot. Today, it's the chief weapon in his varied arsenal. In the last years' playoffs Tom registered 229 points for a sparkling 22.9 average to help lead the Bostonians to the championship.

Don Chaney
The Celtics' accent on youth includes Don in a vital backcourt role. He is acknowledged as the most gifted defender on the club's backcourt roster and his skills compliment those of JoJo White. Not a natural outside shooter. Don has proven his ability to penetrate, and with his great speed and size and strength, he is a real factor off the offensive backboards. He has superb reflexes.
