Name that player!

Remember back in the 1970s, when you would always see "Rockin' Rollin'" at major sporting events? You know... the guy with the rainbow wig. I think Rodman should take up that job once he is done in the NBA. Seriously though, Dennis is a very humble and shy person off the court. He's a great actor and one of the best rebounders of all-time. Did you know? Rodman never played high school basketball. As a senior, he stood just 5'11" and grew eight inches after graduating.

The head coaches of the 17 NBA teams named Clifford to the 1971-72 NBA All-Rookie First Team, and Clifford was the only player to make the team who was not a first round draft selection. Clifford's finest performances of his rookie campaign came in playoff games vs. Wilt Chamberlain and the Lakers. Clifford averaged 15.3 points and 16.5 rebounds per game.

The NBA record holder for most seasons leading the league in rebounds (7), Rodman posted four of the five best rebounding performances in the 1997-98 season, including a 29-board outburst against Atlanta.

Michael Jordan
The NBA borrowed the Slam-Dunk Championship from the ABA, recycling the event in 1984. However, it wasn't until Michael Jordan burst onto the scene in 1985 that the competition was elevated to its current level of popularity. Jordan claimed his first title in 1987, and the next year, he became the only player ever to win back-to-back contests. With a 50 on his final dunk after taking off from the free throw line with his body fully extended until the one-handed finish, Jordan bested Dominique Wilkins in 1988.
