Name that player!

One of the NBA's fine rookies of 1972-73, Chris played three seasons on the Villanova varsity as both a guard and a forward. Each Villanova team went on to gain a spot in the NCAA post-season tournament. Chris holds the single-season high at Villanova with 145 Assists and also holds the career high. He averaged 16, 13.8 and 17.9 Points in his 3 years for a career average of 15.8.

A tireless worker and the Pistons' rebounding leader in 1989-90. "Worm" is a defensive demon and one of the best offensive rebounders in the game - a big part of why the Pistons held opponents to the fewest points scored in the NBA in 1989-90. One of the few players in the league who pulls down more rebounds than he throws in points, he has a basketball-playing sister, Debra, who was made all-America at Louisiana Tech.

Walker's NBA figures - 10.1 points, 2.9 assists are far below the marks he set as one of the outstanding collegians in his junior and senior years, but Detroit brass figure he'll make it this time. A fine passer.

Back to the Front! Pistons card back du jour...

Leo (Crystal) Kuer
Was twice an All-American at Notre Dame before entering the play-for-pay boys with Indianapolis Jets of the BAA. One of top scorers of game. Last year Leo scored 612 points for Jets to lead them in scoring. The Pistons got him during the summer in a player-cash swap for Ken Menke... so, while this is Leo's third year in pro ball it is his first with Fort Wayne.
