Raptors Card of the Day

Fred VanVleet
Pumping up the volume in Toronto, Van Vleet has increased his shots per game every season since attempting a mere 3.0 as a rookie in 2016-17. The 2020-21 campaign saw him holst up 16.7 field goals per contest and average 19.6 points, also a career high. He nailed 17-of-23 FGs during his 54-point explosion at Orlando on Feb. 2.

Name that player!

Rogers has those "NBA legs" - a pair of long-striders and high-jumpers that define his game through dunks at one end of the court and blocks at the other. His rate of one BLK every 21.7 MIN ranked 39th out of 327 players with 400+ MIN.

Flynn finished off the 2020-21 season with a spark. Over his final five games, he averaged 19.0 points, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals. With Kyle Lowry having departed to Miami, the do-everything playmaker could carry that momentum into his sophomore season and become the Raptors' starting point guard.

Dragic excels as a secondary playmaker, frequently coming off the pine to dish crisp passes all over the court. In 2020-21, the veteran guard averaged 4.4 assists in just 26.7 minutes. Traded to Toronto the following offseason, he'll now give the northern squad's second unit a major boost.
