Raptors Card of the Day

Goran Dragic
Dragic excels as a secondary playmaker, frequently coming off the pine to dish crisp passes all over the court. In 2020-21, the veteran guard averaged 4.4 assists in just 26.7 minutes. Traded to Toronto the following offseason, he'll now give the northern squad's second unit a major boost.

Name that player!

Pumping up the volume in Toronto, Van Vleet has increased his shots per game every season since attempting a mere 3.0 as a rookie in 2016-17. The 2020-21 campaign saw him holst up 16.7 field goals per contest and average 19.6 points, also a career high. He nailed 17-of-23 FGs during his 54-point explosion at Orlando on Feb. 2.

Achiuwa brought his A game as a rookie in 2020-21. That meant great activity and accountability. "They told me from the first day that this opportunity requires accountability," he told ESPN. "I had to be accountable for what I did out there, and I was able to show that I could do that while also learning how to play the NBA game."

An underdog story and hard worker, Siakam is the kind of player a fan base loves to support. The Cameroon native - who didn't start playing hoops until age 16 - made big strides in 2017-18. After netting only 17 assists as a rookie, he surpassed that total in just 14 games as a sophomore, dishing five in a win vs. New York on Nov. 17.
