Making his playoff debut in 2021, Hachimura looked ready for the bright lights. In his team's first round matchup with Philadelphia, he averaged 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds over the five-game set. In Game 4, the up-and-coming forward posted a double-double to help power his team to a win.
Looking to build around All-Stars Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis, the Wizards drafted Davis in 2022. The University of Wisconsin product will complement both of his new teammates with his ability to swish off the catch, create buckets for himself and set up scores with sweet passes.
Courtney didn't receive even one of the 124 possible votes for 2001 NBA Rookie of the Year, yet no NBA frosh had a stronger finish. After scoring just 4.2 PPG with Dallas, Alexander was shipped to Washington, where he drained 17.0 PPG in 27 games. He even was named NBA Rookie of the Month for April, when he averaged 22.4 PPG. "I feel I can bring so much to the table," he says. "but at the same time I don't want to overshadow anyone or disrupt the team's chemistry." The only chemistry he disrupted on April 18 was the Toronto Raptors', as he ripped Vince Carter & Co. with a career-high 33 points.
