Squires Card of the Day

Mike Barr
From the start, Squires' Coach Al Bianchi has been impressed with Mike. "A lot of what Mike does is not reflected in the box score. Even some of our veterans have told me, This guy can play.' He has produced much more than we had hoped for." One of the ABA's finest rookies of 1972-73, Mike signed his Squires con tract the day he received it in the mail.

Bernie contributed much to the Squires offense in his first campaign with the club, 1971-72, with a 10.6 Average and hit an impressive 20.5 clip during the last dozen games of the season when the club was making its drive for the #2 playoff berth. He was particularly impressive in an early season game against Memphis.
