Bears Card of the Day

Lance Briggs
Linebackers such as Lance give quarterbacks nightmares for several reasons. If he's blitzing, he's on top of the signalcaller in a hurry, and he owns the speed to chase down his fleeing prey. If Briggs instead drops into coverage, he exhibits the agility to hang with receivers and the hands to make a pick. Lance Briggs, Chicago Bears Linebacker from Los Angeles, Calif., and University of Arizona. 6 ft. 1 inch, 242 pounds.
