Dick, one of the south's finest college tackles from his sophomore year through his senior year, played offense and defense. He has unusual speed and strength.



Starred for Jacksonville Navy. Played halfback for Florida. All-Southeastern, 1948, 1949. In 1949 gained 774 yards for average of 6 yards, scoring 72 points. Went pro with the Bears in 1950. Their No. 1 draft choice.



Last year, Don thrilled Bear fans with an amazing 100 yard kickoff return. A tricky, speedy runner, the flashy freshman led the Bears in Kickoff Returns and Punt Runbacks last season.
