Name that player!

As a pass catching end in college, Tom rated with the best in the country. He was voted All-Missouri Valley every year, was mentioned on several All-American Teams and in 1950 placed 2nd in the Nation among offensive ends. When he joined the Cards in '51 Tom was put on defense and the experiment was a complete success. Today he is one of the finest defensemen in the N.F.L. - a whiz at tackling and an airtight operator on pass defense.

Playing in 14 games. Boldin led the 2005 NFL with 100.1 yards receiving per contest while hitting a career high with 102 catches (second in the league). Anquan and Larry Fitzgerald became the only NFL teammates ever to catch 100 passes for 1,400-plus yards apiece in the same season. Of Boldin's eight 100-yard games, five came consecutively.

A really rugged operator, Frank is a hard charging vet who delights in jarring tackles. His speed gets him into the enemy backfield and on opposing quarterbacks with maddening consistency.

Back to the Front! Cardinals card back du jour...

Leo Sugar
As a star in college Leo played fullback and offensive end. But in the pro ranks he functions as a fine defensive wingman. His tackling is sharp and he can diagnose a play with uncanny ability.
