Cardinals first draft choice. All-America and All-Conference for three years at U. of Oklahoma - one of the greatest ends at the university and Missouri Valley Conference. Washington TD Club selected Max as Lineman of the Year in '54. Did all the punting, caught 29 passes for 8 TD'S fastest man on Oklahoma eleven. Played in Orange and Senior Bowls - also North-South game. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma where he starred on the high school football, basketball, and track teams.



This is Polsfoot's fourth season with the Cardinals. Unable to play last year because of leg injury. He is one of the league's outstanding pass receivers. Was a football and track star at Washington State.



Second year with the Cardinals. Established Big Ten pass receiving record at University of Indiana. Received All-American honorable mention and was selected to first All-American track team in 1951. Married. Nickname "Doc."
