After a disasterous 2-10-2 record, the Giants, with 20 new men on their roster, bounced back to a respectable 7 and 7 in '65. They were in the race for a second place, and a spot in the Playoff Bowl, until the last day of the season.

Kerry has found a home in New York. After signing as a free agent, he waited in the wings through most of the season's first half in 1999. When finally given the full-time starting job, he led the Giants to two victories in his first three starts. Collins was lethal late in games, throwing for more than half his yardage in the fourth quarter.

Who is it?


Newman High School in New Orleans has had two single-season 1,000-yard receivers - Beckham and Cooper Manning (brother of Peyton and Eli). Odell was "grand" again for LSU in 2013 when, including his sensational kick returning exploits, he stacked up the third-highest all-purpose yardage total (2,315) in SEC history, behind only current NFL standouts Randall Cobb and Darren McFadden.

Henry Carr
Henry, better known for his gold medal Olympic performances at 200 meters, than for his football talent, has come on to be one of the good free safeties in the League. In '66 he intercepted 4 passes and ran one back 101 yards for a TD.
