Nicknamed "The Old Lamp Lighter", Blake was a great left winger for 13 years in the N.H.L. Since becoming Coach of Canadiens in 1955-56 his team has finished first 8 times and won the Stanley Cup 7 times including a record of 5 consecutive years!

Claude, an eleven year veteran with Canadiens, reached the 200 goal plateau last season. A fast-skating, tireless player, Claude is particularly adept at checking opposing forwards and coming up with the puck in corner skirmishes.



Built like a California redwood tree, Jacques Laperriere ran into several leg injuries during his early days with the Montreal Canadiens. At 22, he won the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year. Two years later, he was voted the winner of the Norris Trophy as NHL's best defenseman.



Played for Canadiens last year after two years for Cincinnati in A.H.L. Chalked up 33 pts. before being forced out by injury after only 33 games.
