Henri Richard
Though still not as productive as the Game's brightest stars, Henri Richard takes a back seat to no player when it comes to colourful, fascinating hockey skill. Henri has inherited enough of the famous family traits to be considered one of the League's top centres and certainly one of the most mature "thinking players" in hockey today.

Aggressive left winger, John earned promotion to Canadiens after a 38-goal season with Cleveland. Montreal had inside track because of working agreement with the Barons. John was a leading candidate for rookie honors when he hurt thumb.

The phlegmatic "Gumper" has won more pro trophies than any other goaltender, including the NHL rookie of the year, the Vezina Trophy and the WHL's most valuable player award. Outspoken and inclined to put on weight, Gump has become a real fans' favorite.

John is one of the most rugged forwards in the N.H.L. and is at his best when going is rough and tough. One of the few players to hail from Vancouver, John can always be counted on to throw some stiff body-checks during a game. He led the League in penalties last season.
