The 1973-74 season was shortened for Billy by an injury but he expects to be in peak condition this year. He was the ABA Player of the Year & MVP in 1972-73 when he led the league with a record 216 steals.
Nate starred three years on Texas teams which ran and shot their way to national prominence. He averaged 19.9 points over three years and his 1459 point total topped Jim "Bad News" Barnes' old school record mark. Nate was a Royals' regular through the 1970-71 pre-season games, averaging 13.7 points in 9 games and was a leader in assists. He was awarded the Royals' Outstanding Rookie trophy.
"The General" showed promise in his rookie season... Twin brother of Horace Grant, Chicago's starting power forward... Good shooter... Third on team in blocked shots... Played on 1988 Sooners team that reached the NCAA Championship game... First team all-Big Eight and third team all-America in 1988.
