It was the club's 6th win in a row and in that period, Bob completed 60 of 87 passes for 843-yards and a completion percentage of 68.9%. In that span Bob threw 5 touchdown passes and for the entire season his completion percentage was 58.0%, best in the AFC. Bob gives the Dolphins fine leadership on the field. He has tremendous poise and self-confidence and all the matching physical attributes. A knee injury kept Bob out of the final five games in 1969 but that season he enjoyed great days against the Bengals, passing for a team record 327-yards, and against the Jets, hitting on 18 of 27 attempts for 4 touchdowns.
