With a last-minute TD pass in Seattle and to force overtime, Manning threw his 100th touchdown pass with the Broncos in just 35 games, becoming the fastest player in NFL history to reach that milestone with a team. Manning joined Fran Tarkenton as the only players to have 100 TDs with two teams.

Immortal of all time in college football is Knute Rockne, late coach at Notre Dame, who produced many intercollegiate champions, best of which was the 1924 "Four horsemen and seven mules." A superb teacher and student of human nature, Rockne developed more college coaches than any man in the history of football. Nearly 100 Notre Dame men are now coaching college and school teams. Rockne's secret was close attention to little details, from a unique style of line play in which such oddities as the "forearm shiver," the "sliding line" etc. were features, to high backfield speed in which the carriers moved like well drilled soldiers.

Wes came back from a major knee injury to go Pro Bowling for a third straight season and become the first player ever to lead the Patriots in catches for a fourth year in a row. His 432 since 2007 top the NFL.
