Born in Hamilton, Dec. 28, 1932. 6'1", 195. Shoots left. Rugged and steady, he's also dean of club; having played more games as Ranger than anybody else in team's history. Equally at home on right or left defense.
Daniel played well for Buffalo in 2002-03, especially near the end of the season. He had four multi-point games during a five-game stretch (March 28-April 5).
When a fellow kicking around the NHL for 15 years without showing any alarming signs of "slowing up", one must assume this is a most unusual individual. If on the other hand, you don't care to place much faith in assumptions a look at the record of Maurice Richard will convince you beyond a doubt that he is a player beyond and above all except a half dozen all time greats. And even these players are none too secure with the Rocket still rolling.
