Name that player!

Al is another of the Cleveland sluggers who walked off with batting honors for the 1952 season. First, he tied a major league record by hitting 3 home runs in a game. In addition, he won the runs batted in crown with 105, led in total bases with 297 for 171 hits. Al hit his stride as a regular for the Indians in 1950, winning the home run title with 37.

The tall righthander, a top pitcher for the White Sox for 6 years, was traded to Cleveland last fall. Dick won 16 games in 1957 and had a sparkling E.R.A. of 2.77. Last season the southpaw pitched much better than his 10-10 record reveals.

Hank started 9 games for the Indians last season and one resulted in a flashy 4-hit shutout. A former American Legion baseball star, he was spotted while playing sandlot ball. Cleveland signed Hank in 1951 and the following year he fashioned a no hitter for Bakersfield.
