Woody comes to the Warriors by way of the Harlem Globetrotters. After playing two years of college ball at Texas Southern, he joined the fabulous Harlem group and traveled throughout the country and abroad. Woody didn't do much clowning around, but concentrated on solid basketball. As a result, he's an expert all around operator. Fast for a big man, Woody is tough in scrambles under the boards. While on the Trotters, he developed a unique way of blocking enemy shots and N.B.A. scorers are in for trouble.

Though only 6'2", Ollie is one of the highest jumpers in basketball, his dunk shots electrify ABA fans. At Houston he led the team in rebounds as a senior with an average of 11.2 per game. He was also club's top scorer with 24.7 points per game. Drafted from Nets, 8-10-72.
